I have no one to gift/show my photos to, is there any point doing it?
YES! DO IT FOR YOURSELF! If you do this for anyone, do it for yourself. Self-love is the best love and when my clients invest in themselves they walk away feeling empowered and confident.
Where can I buy Lingerie?
I have a prep guide that I send to all my clients once we have confirmed a date and session fee has been paid. This will have all the lingerie information you will need. It includes do's and dont's of what to wear and possible places to purchase lingerie.
How many Outfits should I Bring?
I recommend bringing 2-3 outfits to your shoot. It is best to have a variety of styles. For example, bra/panty set, bodysuit and a sweater or silk robe. That will ensure that your gallery has an array of images.
How many photos do we get?
I have collections that come with predetermined number of photos or A La Carte items. Each reveal will have approximately 75 images to choose your favorites from.
Why is boudoir photography so popular?
Boudoir photography is a luxury service that is the ULTIMATE confidence booster. It allows you to document your glorious body just as it is and create beautiful art. Reflecting back on your photos (oh trust me, you will) allows you to see yourself in a completely different perspective that you aren't able to see in your day to day life.
What types of prints and products do you offer?
I have three collections that include items such as albums, folio boxes, metal wall art, etc. If you would like more information please see the 'contact me' page to discuss them further.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes! I do not alter the body at all unless it is something that is not natural to the body. For example a strap that is digging into the skin. Blemishes and under eye circles are removed and I smooth skin. This will soften any stretch marks but will not remove them completely.
Whats your turn around time?
I guarantee that all your images will be edited and ready for your reveal session within 2-3 weeks.
Do I have to come to your studio or can we do in-home sessions?
I will travel to you! I do offer in-home and outdoor sessions! Travel rates will be applied to sessions that are outside of Red Deer.
Do you have a client closet?
I have a very small client closet with multiple size options that clients are welcome to use. We will discuss the details of client closet during your pre-session consultation.
Is it normal to be nervous?
Absolutely. However, I promise those nerves will melt away very quickly during your session. I also offer a pre-session consultation to answer any questions and walk you through what to expect on the day of your session.
How long have you been doing this?
I photographed my first boudoir client November 2019. Prior to that I had been photographing families, newborns and weddings.
Do you have to publish my photos?
No! I only share images that you have consented to. There are three releases that you can sign:
Full Release, Partial/Anonymous Release or No Release.
